Hingalangin: Filipino Mindfulness
A term coined by one of our Board of Trustees, Sister Rosario Battung, Hingalangin (Panalangin na Naka-Sentro sa Paghinga) is a Filipino community mindfulness practice done via facebook. Hingalangin introduces mindfulness practices rooted in Filipino culture, promoting holistic wellness through traditional and contemporary techniques. This program encourages participants to engage in mindful breathing, meditation, and other practices that foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and overall mental health. Hingalangin aims to connect individuals with their cultural heritage while enhancing their well-being. The program is available via Circle of Hope's Facebook page, providing easy and widespread access to these valuable practices.
