Often, students in difficult classes receive little or no praise at school and often not at home. A little praise goes a long way. Any progress the class or students make should be praised either publicly or one on one, depending on the student and the situation. Offer rewards for goals achieved, good efforts by the class or individual. These rewards might be as simple as a sticker or a stamp or a lolly. Your class circumstances will help decide.
Second, a teacher must be very patient. You have to keep in mind that students tend to be forgetful, irresponsible, immature, etc… and depending on their age sometimes, the one you need to be after is the parent not the student. Young students by nature need an adult to be after them.

Each state was given free will (states’ rights), and they tacked on dozens more rules in an attempt to get people to focus on that which is important in a given area and bring order to it. This free will led the states to split, more chaos. Then, Reconstruction brought order once again. Through it all, there are those who try to bring definition, understanding, and application of these rules so that societies can move forward.

Jesus simplified the plan by giving us the Golden Rule. This rule turned the “shall nots” back onto the individual, who must first understand and love himself enough to extend that love and understanding to others. Conscience became the ruler of man.
The original source of course was Aesop, who told a tale with a moral core in The Goose that laid the golden egg. A man and his wife had the good fortune to possess a goose that laid a golden egg every day. For a while they were happy and lived well, but then they became impatient with how quickly they were accumulating their wealth. So they thought that if the goose could lay such a fine egg of gold, it must be lined with the precious metal. If they cut the goose open, they could get the gold all at once. Of course we all know what happened, the goose was just a goose and there was no gold inside.
golden teacher growkit When asked for advice on martial-arts school selection, rather than recommend a specific school, or even a particular style, I instead recommend the way my teacher (Steve Golden) has in the past: I tell them to choose based on the personality of the teacher at the school.
A teacher cannot be a friend to his/her students. You are ‘in loco perantis’. That carries responsibility. Obviously, you need to be approachable. That means you need to have a friendly demeanour. Tell your class when and where you are available to see them about any issues they have and help they need.
