COVID RESPONSE
As our nation and the entire global community face these historical and challenging times, Circle of Hope is even more committed to becoming a catalyst of hope and compassion by providing science-backed resources that empower individuals and communities to tap into deeper wells of resilience. We journey with humanity in this time of great turning, striving to be attuned to the pain of the world, yet at the same time filled with hope for the possibility of rebirth and transformation.
Circle of Hope’s community-based approach is grounded on the fundamental principle that wellbeing flourishes through the cultivation of mindfulness or open-hearted awareness (LOOB), compassion (KAPWA), and collective consciousness (DIWA). We espouse the integration of Filipino values with the growing research on the science of wellbeing. This enables us to deliver services that are culturally-rooted, while at the same time translating scientific data into practices that can benefit communities. In the midst of adversity and uncertainty, hope thrives when we awaken to our potential for taking life-affirming action and by harnessing the power of shared humanity. Personal and communal thriving happens through constant and intentional practice. When we collectively take even tiny steps towards inner resilience, we strengthen ourselves and the whole community.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Circle of Hope has been able to activate a prompt response to the pandemic, by offering mental health services, training, and other coping resources to frontliners and the general public from the very first week of the enhanced community quarantine period. We are most grateful to the mental health clinicians and other individuals who have been generously volunteering to make these resources available.
In order to keep going, we also need financial support to maintain key staff positions that are necessary in coordinating our programs and services. Please consider making a contribution by clicking on our DONATE NOW button. We understand that this is not an easy time to give and we will appreciate any donation that is within your capacity to make. Every drop counts, without a drop there is no ocean.
